Free online training on customising the DMPonline

Just booked my place on the upcoming Digital Curation Centre (DCC) Webinar on customising the DMPonline. The DCC are planning to run a series of brief one hour sessions during spring/summer, covering some of the current issues, examples of good digital curation practice, and provide an overview of available tools.

The DMPonline is a DCC web-based tool which helps researchers write data management plans. The new version of the tool provides flexibility in terms of how institutions can customise it to their specific requirements. Useful features include:

  • Creating your own template to provide questions and guidance
  • Adding tailored guidance to help researchers answer funders questions
  • Providing examples and suggested answers
So if you want to find out more about data management plans (DMPs) this will be a useful training opportunity.
Further details and registration for the webinars is available here and the first webinar will be held on 13th March 2014.
